Why is PFLAG National using a Learning Management System (LMS)?
PFLAG Academy Online is a well-established program that has offered monthly webinars for PFLAG chapter leaders, members, and supporters for nearly 15 years.
Moving this program to a Learning Management System will allow PFLAG National to meet the changing needs and expectations of our chapter leaders and members who turn to our webinars to develop and grow their organizing skills. It will also allow us to grow our network of supporters and expand the reach of PFLAG National in communities nationwide. Using a Learning Management System allows PFLAG National to certify participation in our webinar programs to ensure that our chapters are in compliance with their affiliation agreement, offer certificates of completion for those participating in PFLAG Academy Online to obtain continuing education credits, and create space or more discussion amongst individuals who take advantage of our training options.
How do I log in?
Go to academy.pflag.org and click the “login” button.
PFLAG members and supporters who already have access to our Chapter Leader and/or the PFLAG Member Portal can use the same credentials they use to login at pflag.my.site.com/member/s/login to login to the LMS.
If you are already a member or supporter of PFLAG who does not have access to the PFLAG Member Portal, you can register here.
If you are not a member or supporter of PFLAG, you can learn more about what training is available but will not be able to register for any courses at this time. You can learn more about PFLAG membership here: pflag.org/become-a-member.
How do I reset my password?
On the login screen, select “Forgot your password?” and follow the steps.

Why do I need to register for PFLAG Academy On-Demand courses now?
Your registration will help to ensure that PFLAG National is able to verify your participation in each course that you register for. This will allow us to ensure that your chapter is in good standing, provide certificates of completion, and provide access to additional resources associated with each workshop.
Do I have to pay to access PFLAG Academy Online and other training resources?
PFLAG Academy Online and other training resources are available to dues paying chapter leaders, chapter members, and members-at-large as a benefit of membership. If you are not a member, you will receive access to our on-demand catalog of webinars and other training resources with an annual donation of $50 or more to PFLAG National.
How do I take advantage of the accessibility features that are available?
Elevate by Cadmium has a robust set of accessibility tools through a software called ReciteMe. This includes options to change the appearance of the site including font size and color, support for screen readers and other reading aids. It also provides access to a dictionary and thesaurus as well as translation services for more than 100 languages.
You can access these tools by clicking the word “Accessibility” in the top right corner of the screen (to the right of the “Find a Chapter” button and above the “Donate to PFLAG National” button).

Can I use this Learning Management System to receive custom training content?
